HELD BACK: typescript ~6.0.3 -> ~7.0.2 (#84, #86). TS 7 breaks the CDK app because
ts-node 10.x is incompatible with the TS 7 compiler API (cdk synth: 'Cannot read
properties of undefined (reading fileExists)'). Needs a ts-node->tsx migration first;
tracked separately. Everything else builds clean; cdk synth + tsc pass; npm audit 0 vulns.
